The Virginia Express Uncontested Paperwork Package* is $799 and includes creating all papers for the Standard Uncontested Divorce

Standard Uncontested Divorce
Although each divorce is different, below are the general steps for the process:

1. Payment and Fee Agreement: We will prepare a Fee Agreement for your review and signature. This is the contract between you and our office that explains the fees associated with your case and our policies.
2. Intake form for us to prepare your documents: We will email an intake form for you to complete and provide us the information we need for your case.
3. Upon receipt of the intake form: We prepare the parties’ Separation and Property Settlement Agreement.
4. We forward the Separation and Property Settlement Agreement for your signature in front of a notary (if required).
5. Once the Separation and Property Settlement Agreement are signed by both parties, we will prepare and have filed the “Complaint for Divorce”.

The court will provide us with a case number and we prepare final divorce documents, including an Acceptance of Service/Waiver of Notice, Plaintiff Affidavit, and Witness Affidavit.

Once all final divorce documents are signed, we will file them in court along with the “Final Order of Divorce” and request that the judge review and finalize the case.

*This package does not include any court filing services, filing fees, service of process, completion of any proof of service, any attorney representation or attorney consultations. Under this package, you provide all of the information, and we prepare the basic paperwork for the initial filings in an uncontested divorce in which you will be representing yourself in and out of court, negotiate your own settlement, arrange for the filings with the court and arrange for your own service of documents. This package does NOT include any court fees, any filing fees, process of service, default documents, the Declaration of Disclosure documents or the Judgment documents.
